We officially launched the Ellie Thornton Foundation on Ellie’s birthday, 10th July 2018 with Ellie’s Star Gala. We were joined for this special evening by many friends and family to launch the charity, the evening included a three-course dinner with fine wine, charity auction and entertainment at Cissbury Barns.
Ellie’s Star Gala was made possible in large part by the kind support of Etta and Geoffrey Wyatt along with their team at Cissbury. We also had many other amazing supporters, to whom we are incredibly grateful.
We are delighted to announce that Ellie’s Star Gala raised an awesome £6880. This sets us well on course to be able to support more Body Worn Camera’s for School Crossing Patrols in West Sussex, and we will be looking at launching the Ellie Days Grant funding later in the year. THANK YOU everyone who has helped us reach this amazing target.
